Job summary

Grip is seeking a People Operations Specialist to own the full employee lifecycle for our Texas on-site team. This hands-on role covers recruiting, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll, and on-site pre-employment screenings, with direct collaboration with facility leadership.

You will recruit hourly workers, manage onboarding, track hours, and ensure accurate pay and records while staying compliant with wage-and-hour regulations in Texas, contributing to a growing, high-volume operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HR, recruiting, or People Ops in high-volume hourly settings.
• Experience with timekeeping and payroll processing.
• Knowledge of Texas employment rules and DOT/non-DOT drug testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for hourly roles from packers to managers.
• Oversee onboarding and ensure new hires start day one with complete paperwork.
• Monitor timekeeping, approve timecards, and handle payroll adjustments.
