Job summary

MIT Federal Credit Union in Lexington, MA seeks an Human Resources Specialist to provide administrative and operational support to HR and Learning & Development. You will coordinate processes, maintain employee records, assist onboarding, and help deliver training and engagement initiatives.

This role works collaboratively with HR Generalist and L&D Trainer to ensure compliant, efficient programs and excellent service to employees across the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree or HR Certificate is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years HR or administrative experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to HR and Learning & Development functions.
• Coordinate departmental processes and maintain employee records and documentation.
• Assist onboarding activities and orientation for new hires.
• Coordinate training logistics, reporting, and departmental projects.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
