Job summary

Viant Technology is seeking an organized HR Coordinator to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations, acting as the first contact for employee inquiries and coordinating onboarding, offboarding, and HR systems. You will partner with Payroll, Benefits, TA, IT, and others to maintain data accuracy and support compliance as Viant scales.

The role requires 1–3 years in similar roles, experience with HRIS/ATS (ADP preferred), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred in HR/Business Admin.
• 1–3 years in HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or admin role.
• Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; ADP preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential data.
• Excellent communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for general HR questions and manage HR inbox/tickets in Jira.
• Coordinate on-boarding including background checks, I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
• Facilitate offboarding, COBRA and benefits terminations with Benefits team.
• Maintain employee records across ADP, ChartHop, Greenhouse, and other HR systems.
• Ensure audit-ready personnel files and compliance with retention policies.
• Assist with HR audits (SOX, EEO-1) and reporting requests.
• Document HR processes and support HRIS/ATS implementations.
• Provide admin support for HR operations and special projects.
• Handle employment verifications and unemployment claims.
