Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; two-year degree with two years related experience acceptable.
• Two years of experience in a human resources position; recruiting experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization.
• Ability to keep current on employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR administrative support, maintain records and HRIS.
• Coordinate onboarding and pre-employment testing; set up new hires in HRIS.
• Conduct new employee orientations and manage onboarding data (E-Verify, taxes, direct deposit).
• Advise Payroll/HR on policy compliance and issue resolutions.
• Handle VOE inquiries and exit interviews.
• Prepare government reports related to EEO compliance.
• Draft and maintain company policies; share information electronically.
• Coordinate employee events and community involvement.
