Job summary

Bios Life, based in Cambridge, MA, seeks an experienced HR Manager to own the day-to-day people function as we scale. You will lead recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and retention, partnering with the COO and fractional Chief People Officer to drive proactive People initiatives.

This role requires hands-on leadership, coaching, and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to HR across the employee lifecycle in a fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience as a hands-on HR generalist supporting all lifecycle processes.
• Strong coaching, partner to managers, and employee relations expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day HR function and be the primary People resource for staff and managers.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, development, performance, retention, and offboarding.
• Ensure HR processes are practical, scalable, communicated, and executed.
