Job summary

Growald Climate Fund is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead HR operations across the employee lifecycle in a hybrid Boston-based role. You will own payroll, benefits, leave tracking, HR systems, and staff records with care and confidentiality.

Collaborating with Finance and Legal, you will support onboarding, performance processes, and policy updates, ensuring compliance and a positive, human-centered staff experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing core HR operations: payroll, benefits, leave, and staff records.
• Strong knowledge of employment compliance and policy application.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication with staff, managers and leadership.
• SHRM/PHR certification preferred; familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems valued.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliable execution of core HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage payroll administration, benefits administration, leave tracking, and HR systems.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, performance processes and staff relations.
• Collaborate with Finance and Legal on payroll and vendor coordination.
• Ensure local, state and federal compliance and maintain records.
