Job summary

Growald Climate Fund is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead HR operations across the employee lifecycle in a hybrid Boston environment. You will manage payroll, benefits, leave tracking, HR systems, staff records, and compliance while delivering a supportive, human-centered experience for staff.

Collaborating with Finance, Legal, and external vendors, you’ll drive onboarding, offboarding, performance processes, policy updates, staff relations, and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and

• Experience managing core HR operations including payroll, benefits, leave administration and staff records.
• Understand employment compliance and apply policies carefully, escalating complex issues.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliable execution of core HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage payroll, benefits, leave tracking, HR systems, records, and compliance.
• Partner with Finance and Legal on payroll and benefits and work with external vendors.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, performance processes, staff relations, and HR documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal on Handbook reviews and policy updates for compliance.
• Conduct policy research to inform new HR policies and revisions.
• Work with staff, managers, and leadership to ensure smooth adoption of processes.
