Job summary

Flock Freight is seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager, People Operations to support the employee experience, lead HR technology, total rewards and people analytics. You will partner with the VP of People to shape systems, programs, and operating rhythms that empower employees and managers to perform at their best.

You will drive HR systems, dashboards, and compensation/benefits programs, while leading a team and ensuring compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 7+ years HR experience incl. leadership in People Operations.
• 2+ years UKG Pro administration experience or similar HRIS.
• Knowledge of compensation, benefits, pay-transparency, equity programs and multi-state law.
• Experience building workforce analytics and executive dashboards.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration and evolution of HRIS (UKG) and related People systems; coordinate with Payroll and IT to maintain data integrity.
• Develop dashboards and reporting using UKG BI to inform People decisions.
• Own total rewards programs: compensation, benefits, wellness, retirement, leave, voluntary benefits.
• Create resources like salary/equity guidelines, offer tools, manager resources, and employee communications.
• Lead Open Enrollment end-to-end from strategy to execution.
• Design scalable operating models to improve service quality and reduce manual work.
• Identify and implement automation and AI capabilities to enhance HR services.
• Collaborate with Finance and Legal on equity reporting and with Payroll on leave payroll.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment requirements.
