Job summary

My Green Lunch is seeking a Director of HR & Operations to oversee HR and daily office operations. You will recruit, onboard, manage employee records, benefits, and payroll while ensuring legal compliance and office efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in HR/office management, triage of multiple priorities, strong communication, and a proactive, hands-on approach. Spanish skills are a plus; compensation includes benefits for a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in HR, office management, or related administrative role; food service or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and payroll processes.
• Hands-on experience with TriNet (or comparable HRIS) including benefits administration and payroll.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service oriented.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Discretion and professionalism with confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and general office tech.
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements and workplace safety compliance.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and supplies.
