Job summary

Green Top Farms, a New York-based food service company, seeks a Director of People Operations to lead recruitment, retention, and compliance across a growing, multilingual workforce. This hybrid role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to build scalable people programs and culture across multiple sites in Brooklyn and beyond.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with leadership
• Strong knowledge of NY employment law and compliance
• Experience reducing turnover and building recruitment programs
• Experience in multi-site, bilingual workforce HR

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
• Develop retention strategies to reduce turnover
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws (NYC focus)
• Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies and handbooks
• Oversee compensation benchmarking and annual reviews
