Job summary

TensorWave Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a People Operations Intern to join during an exciting growth phase. You will gain hands-on exposure to onboarding, employee relations, internal communications, and HR systems.

You will contribute to real onboarding and engagement projects, assist with end-to-end onboarding, refine resources, plan activities, and draft internal communications. This paid internship runs May–August (12 weeks), Tuesday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets).
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new hire onboarding end-to-end, including paperwork, welcome materials, orientation scheduling, and first-week check-ins
• Help build and refine onboarding resources (guides, checklists, welcome kits) to create a smoother experience for new employees
• Support employee engagement by helping plan and execute activities, events, and recognition programmes
• Assist with gathering and analyzing employee feedback (surveys, pulse checks) to help identify ways to improve the employee experience
• Draft and distribute internal communications, including company announcements, newsletters, and policy updates
• Help create and update POps templates, process documents, and internal resource pages
• Lead or contribute to special projects related to culture-building, process improvement, development, etc.
• Conduct research on HR best practices or compliance topics as needed
• Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality

About the Role

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets especially)
• A proactive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or coursework in HR is a plus, but not required
