TensorWave Inc. in Las Vegas is seeking an IT Service Desk Intern to join our corporate IT team and provide Tier 1 technical support to employees.
You will assist with day-to-day service desk operations and focus on customer service and clear communication. The role involves triaging requests, troubleshooting common issues, assisting with onboarding/offboarding, inventory management, and maintaining IT documentation.

We’re looking for a IT Service Desk Intern to join our team during an exciting phase of growth. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting TensorWave’s Corporate IT team by providing Tier 1 technical support to employees and assisting with day-to-day service desk operations.
This is a customer-facing role, and the most important qualification is strong customer service and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should be approachable, patient, empathetic, and comfortable working with employees who may have different levels of technical knowledge.
Triage incoming support requests, resolve common technical issues, document solutions, and elevate more complex issues to the appropriate team member.
Monitoring and triaging service desk tickets, troubleshooting common hardware, software, account, access, and connectivity issues
Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding activities
Supporting endpoint and asset management tasks
Maintaining IT documentation and knowledge base articles
Helping address the existing backlog of support tickets and operational projects.
Assist with inventory management, device preparation and deployment, account administration, software installation, access reviews, documentation cleanup, and other Corporate IT initiatives appropriate for an entry-level technical role
Strong customer service skills, empathy, patience, and professionalism
Clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
Able to listen carefully, understand the employee’s issue, communicate in a way that is easy to understand, and maintain a positive experience even when troubleshooting difficult or frustrating problems
Prior IT experience is helpful but is not the primary requirement for this role.
Basic familiarity with computer hardware, operating systems, networking, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or ticketing systems is preferred, but technical skills can be developed through training and hands‑on experience.
