Job summary

Ascend is seeking a People Operations Integration Manager to lead HR integration for firms joining Ascend through acquisition. You will oversee smooth employee transitions, policy alignment, and synergy of benefits and HR technology across pre- and post-merger phases, reporting to the Head of People Operations.

Your role includes workforce planning, employee retention, and coordinating HR systems like Workday, while driving change management and cultural alignment across partner firms and Ascend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of HR experience with at least 3 years managing M&A integrations or large-scale transformations.
• Experience in professional services or accounting firms strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of HR processes and best practices for M&A, including HCM systems, policy integration, and benefits harmonization.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale change efforts that foster engagement with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR integration for firms joining Ascend, ensuring smooth employees transitions and policy alignment.
• Drive change management, employee engagement, and cultural harmonization across partner firms and Ascend.
• Manage data migration and HR systems integration, including Workday, across entities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations on talent and workforce matters during integration.
• Track integration metrics and provide updates to senior HR leadership.
