Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a People Operations Generalist to support Workday processes, onboarding, leaves, and offboarding at our Walker, MI corporate office. You will manage employee records, ensure data accuracy, and advise leaders on HR programs and processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR/Business, 3+ years in People Operations, and strong Excel and communication skills. This is a first-shift, on-site position supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
• Proficiency with Workday and HRIS systems; strong data skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Workday business processes and approvals.
• Support onboarding, internal mobility, leaves of absence, and offboarding.
• Maintain employee records with data integrity and confidentiality.
• Provide guidance on HR programs, policies, and processes.
• Collaborate across HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and IT.
