Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. is seeking a People Operations Generalist to manage daily employee relations and payroll at the EvapTech, Inc. Edwardsville, KS headquarters. This role interfaces with parent company HR operations to align policies and payroll activities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, payroll experience, and strong organizational skills. On-site work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with comprehensive benefits from Evapco.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Experience with human resources or employee relations with professional payroll certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, labor laws/relations and payroll accounting skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and highly proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Self-starter, flexible, reliable, able to work with minimum direction and in a team environment.
• Capable of handling high‑volume multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day employee relations and payroll operations at the EvapTech, Inc. Edwardsville, KS corporate office.
• Interface with Evapco, Inc. People Operations regarding employee policies and payroll activities.
• Serve as on-site contact for benefits inquiries and administer benefits per Evapco package.
• Support payroll documentation, timesheet review, and compliance with labor laws.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, terminations, and HR recordkeeping.
