Salient Motion is seeking its first dedicated People Operations lead to build onboarding, compliance, HRIS, payroll and benefits operations as the company scales. You will own the full employee lifecycle from candidate experience to day one and beyond, partnering with managers and outside counsel on visa processes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a People Ops, HR Generalist, or HR Coordinator role.
• Experience with Rippling, Greenhouse, and Checkr is preferred.
• Onsite in Hawthorne, CA with flexibility is expected.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS administration, onboarding workflows, and data integrity.
• Lead onboarding end-to-end from pre-boarding to 30/60/90-day checks.
• Administer benefits, open enrollment, and policy maintenance.
• Manage compliance (I-9, employment law adherence, ITAR at offer).
• Coordinate visa processes with outside counsel and manage petition timelines.
• Provide payroll support as the first point of contact for questions.
