Job summary

Pinckney Hugo Group, LLC in Syracuse, NY is seeking a proactive People Operations Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle. You will be the go-to for employee relations, benefits, onboarding, learning, recruiting, and compliance, working with Admin Team and Partners in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in People Operations, strong multi-state knowledge, and proficiency in Rippling and JazzHR.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of progressively building experience in People Operations/HR, including recruiting, compliance, performance management, benefit administration, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and performance conversations.
Coach leaders through performance conversations and documentation compliance.
Manage recruiting from end to end for all openings and oversee onboarding/offboarding processes.
Maintain and update HRIS (Rippling) and ensure data integrity; stay compliant with federal, state, and local laws.
Coordinate benefits open enrollment and manage leave programs (FMLA, PFL, Disability, etc.).
Oversee learning and development opportunities and the performance review process.
