OmniAb seeks a Human Resources Generalist to deliver comprehensive HR support across onboarding, compliance, immigration, leave management, and employee development. The role reports to the SVP, People and Talent and is hybrid from Emeryville with some travel to other offices.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in HR, strong policy knowledge, confidentiality, and excellent communication. Join a collaborative team focused on people experience and engagement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, HR, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources at a growing company, preferably in Life Sciences.
• Experience with HR policies, compliance, benefits, and immigration.
• Understanding of State and Federal regulations impacting HR administration.

Responsabilités

• Handle all administrative tasks for preboarding, onboarding, ongoing employee changes, and offboarding, including data entry and compliance auditing.
• Update and drive New Hire Orientation Program for a comprehensive experience.
• Facilitate and track employee change management processes.
• Create employee relationships and support development initiatives.
• Support employee relations and maintain documentation and filings.
• Ensure Federal and State legal requirements are met in policies and programs.
• Manage immigration cases with outside counsel and stakeholders.
• Track and administer leave and coordinate with LOA resources.
• Manage workers' compensation claim reporting and return-to-work program.
• Oversee relationships with HR systems vendors.
• Support orientation to build a strong foundation and engagement.
• Assist in developing and executing HR procedures and policies.
• Facilitate company-wide communications and HR policy compliance.
• Lead the OmniAb Social Committee and drive employee engagement.
• Support employer branding and external events.
• Support other OmniAb Employee Committees and engagement surveys.
