Qualifications

• HR experience preferred, open to early-career candidates
• Proven track record in operations or admin roles supporting people
• Familiar with HRIS and HR processes; Paylocity experience a strong plus
• High integrity and respect for confidentiality
• Clear, empathetic communicator across all levels
• Organized and accurate under pressure
• Curious and coachable with a genuine care for people

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations across assigned dealership locations -- serving as a reliable resource for employees and managers on HR policies, processes, and questions
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes -- ensure that separations are handled accurately and with care, including all documentation
• Maintain accurate employee records -- process status changes and ensure employee documentation is complete and compliant
• Support employee relations -- listen with empathy, document accurately, and maintain appropriate discipline and coaching notes
• Support compliance efforts -- ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local employment regulations across multiple states
• Partner with managers on performance management processes -- supporting documentation, coaching conversations, and corrective action procedures
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support Swickard's growth, culture, and employee experience
