Job summary

Signal Advisors, a Detroit-based company solving retirement planning challenges, is hiring a People Operations Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle from recruiting through onboarding and offboarding.

You will work with a dispersed team, coordinate interviews, draft internal communications, and help drive People initiatives while maintaining discretion and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Some experience in an HR or People-related role is a plus.
• Recruiting experience is an extra plus!
• Must be able to work in our Detroit office at least 2 days each week.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and off-boarding experiences.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews and manage candidate communications.
• Communicate with team members across departments and provide backup People Operations support.
• Draft clear internal communications, newsletters, and presentations.
• Serve as a point of contact for team member questions and concerns.
• Assist with implementing people initiatives like performance reviews and benefits enrollment.
• Help scale People processes by updating systems and documentation.
• Assist Head of People with day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc projects.
