Description

The Amenity Collective, recognized as a 2026 Top Workplace, is North America’s leading provider of single-source solutions across the aquatics, fitness, and recreation industries.

We are currently looking for a People Operations Generalist to join our growing team! The People Operations Generalist is a versatile and highly engaged member of The Amenity Collective's People team, providing day-to-day People Operations support across the organization. This role has direct responsibility for recruiting and onboarding assigned corporate positions while also supporting centralized People administration, team member needs, and special projects.

A key aspect of this position is flexibility. Priorities will shift based on business needs, seasonal demands, and team workload, and this individual must be comfortable jumping in wherever additional support is needed. Responsibilities may range from recruiting and onboarding to Workday administration, invoice reconciliation, reporting, compliance support, and special projects.

In this role, you will play an important role in bringing TAC's culture to life within our corporate office. We are looking for someone who is naturally enthusiastic, approachable, and energized by people—someone who builds relationships, creates positive energy, coordinates team events and recognition, and looks for creative ways to strengthen connections within the office and our local community.

This is a hands-on, primarily desk-based role that balances detailed administrative work with meaningful interaction across the organization. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable engaging with team members, recruiting for an open position, coordinating an office event, or sitting down to work through a detailed administrative task.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a flexible resource across the People function, stepping in to support team members and business needs as priorities, workload, and seasonal demands shift

Provide hands-on support during peak periods or when additional capacity is needed, with a team-first willingness to take ownership of responsibilities outside of regular day-to-day assignments.

Own and support recurring administrative processes that impact multiple TAC platforms, including invoice and billing reconciliation, reporting, data maintenance, tracking, audits, and other centralized People activities.

Respond to routine team member questions related to People programs and processes, including Paid Time Off, benefits, Workday self-service, and company policies, escalating complex or sensitive matters when appropriate.

Support the administration and execution of People programs related to benefits, leave, performance and talent management, training, recognition, and other People initiatives.

Maintain accurate team member information and complete assigned People Operations tasks within Workday and other People systems.

Review, track, and document completion of required training, certifications, and other compliance-related activities.

Support People team projects and emerging organizational initiatives, adapting quickly as priorities evolve.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned corporate positions, partnering closely with hiring managers and People leaders to understand position requirements and hiring needs.

Create and maintain job postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and identify appropriate recruiting channels to generate qualified candidate flow.

Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking resources, and other recruiting channels.

Review applications and resumes, conduct initial candidate interviews, coordinate interviews with hiring teams, and maintain consistent communication throughout the candidate experience.

Maintain candidate pipelines and relationships with qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.

Partner with hiring managers to support an organized, timely, and positive hiring process.

Research recruiting trends, sourcing strategies, and job-posting best practices and identify opportunities to improve candidate flow and experience.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions in partnership with the People team and hiring managers.

Coordinate career fairs and other recruiting opportunities as appropriate.

Manage the onboarding process for assigned new hires, partnering with hiring managers and internal teams to create a smooth and welcoming new hire experience.

Prepare offer letters, initiate and monitor background checks and employment eligibility requirements, and complete assigned pre-hire and onboarding activities.

Complete Form I-9 requirements and maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with company processes.

Maintain and monitor onboarding tasks within Workday.

Partner with IT and hiring managers to coordinate first-day readiness, including technology, email, systems access, and other required resources.

Culture & Team Member Engagement

Serve as an enthusiastic and approachable culture champion within TAC's corporate office, helping create a welcoming, connected, and positive environment for team members and visitors.

Help bring TAC's purpose, values, and guiding behaviors to life through day-to-day interactions, recognition, events, and team member experiences.

Plan, coordinate, and host office events, celebrations, recognition activities, and other opportunities that strengthen team connection.

Proactively identify creative and practical ways to activate TAC's culture within the office throughout the year.

Build relationships with team members and maintain a visible, approachable presence within the office.

Identify opportunities to connect the corporate office and team members with the surrounding community through local events, partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and other activities.

Administer company-wide recognition activities, including team member birthdays, anniversaries, and other milestones.

Partner with the broader People team on engagement and culture initiatives across TAC as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Comfortable interacting with team members at all levels of the organization and being a visible presence within the office.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
