QA Wolf is headquartered in Seattle and is a remote-first team. We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our team as a People Operations Generalist.
We’re looking for someone who:
Shares our values
Has 2+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations, ideally in a high-growth environment
Brings a solid foundation in onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management, along with a working knowledge of HR compliance
Is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to create or refine HR workflows that boost efficiency
Has led at least one cross-functional People Ops project—such as launching a new process, implementing a tool, or improving a system—and can clearly articulate its impact on the employee or team experience
Is a power user of of Rippling, preferably that has been an admin, and is comfortable navigating spreadsheets and dashboards
Operates with empathy, integrity, and calm, especially when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, takes initiative, and proactively solves problems to improve the employee experience
Communicates in a clear, thoughtful manner (both written and verbal) and is genuinely enthusiastic about people-centered initiatives, events, and processes
Things you will do:
Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage end-to-end processes, including device procurement, contractor agreements, documentation (e.g., Rippling), and org chart updates.
Benefits Administration: Oversee health insurance, annual open enrollment, 401(k) plans (e.g., Guideline), parental leave, and disability programs.
Payroll & Compensation: Administer domestic and global payroll, bonuses, stipends, non-commission payouts, and expense submissions.
Compliance & HR Operations: Handle unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation, employment verifications, and internal HR policy development.
Time & Attendance Management: Maintain systems for PTO, holidays, sick leave, and time tracking.
Vendor & Platform Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for platforms like Rippling; manage monthly communications and system updates.
International Employment: Coordinate visa processes and set up employer-of-record (EOR) entities for international hires.
Mail & Office Operations: Process incoming mail and support general office-related tasks
Employee Experience & Culture: Plan company retreats and support programs that enhance workplace culture and engagement.
