Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage full-service HR for both hourly and salaried employees at the Berkeley facility, reporting to the Sr. HR Manager.

This role focuses on onboarding, employee relations, staffing, training, and maintaining compliance across the operation. You will lead orientation, employee engagement initiatives, and HR process improvements, supporting a diverse workforce within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR management, industrial psychology, or business administration.
• 3–5 years HR Generalist experience; or 3 years with a bachelor’s degree.
• HR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle onboarding, employee relations, and engagement programs.
• Coordinate recruitment of non-exempt and exempt staff.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and company policy.
• Prepare reports and manage HR records and budget.
