Job summary

Axillon Aerospace is seeking an organized HR Coordinator to join our team in California. This role offers broad exposure to the employee lifecycle and hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, trade compliance, and benefits.

You will manage onboarding, maintain records in the HRIS, handle unemployment and disability claims, and support office operations. A post-secondary degree and 2–5 years' HR experience are preferred; salary ranges from $25 to $29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant HR experience.
• Knowledge of state and government HR regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding/offboarding, offers, background checks, Form I-9, E-Verify, orientations.
• Coordinate equipment collection and exit paperwork.
• Partner with hiring managers to post openings and schedule interviews.
• Maintain HRIS records and audit compliance.
• Process unemployment and disability claims per state rules.
• Provide daily office support and handle benefits and PTO questions.
• Assist with company events and employee engagement activities.
