Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to lead a safety-minded team and drive efficient operations. You will manage personnel, ensure safe receiving, storage and loading of products, and uphold a high standard of accuracy and service across the warehouse.

You will coach associates, monitor performance, schedule shifts, and partner with management to control costs while maintaining compliance with MSS and FSQA requirements. A minimum of three years in warehouse distribution is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset that ensures a safety-first culture in the warehouse.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and training on policy and procedures.
• Direct and supervise the work and productivity of associates within the warehouse department.
• Participate in building high-performing teams by interviewing and hiring warehouse personnel.
• Lead and direct associates to achieve accurate orders that are staged and loaded on the trucks.
• Monitor performance and productivity reports and take corrective actions as needed.
• Schedule working shifts using planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Maintain the physical condition and safety of warehouse and equipment.
• Identify sources of inventory shrink and develop action plans to control costs.
• Ensure Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and FSQA requirements are followed.
