Carter's, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Port Reading, New Jersey. You will lead a welcoming team, coach staff, and ensure excellent customer service while supporting store operations and merchandising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with at least two closing shifts weekly.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach team to meet service standards and KPIs and drive results.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools.
• Partner with Store Manager to plan and execute merchandising standards and promotions.
• Reduce loss through consistent customer service and operational controls.
