Job summary

Border Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop a strong team, and deliver excellent guest experiences. You will uphold food safety, drive sales initiatives, and manage staffing in a fast-paced Taco Bell franchise environment.

The role emphasizes accountability, integrity, teamwork, and empowerment as core values within a people-first culture that supports career growth and education programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position; minimum 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team.
• Drive a great customer experience with fast, friendly service.
• Ensure health and safety standards and manage scheduling and cash handling.
