Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting/Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years' progressive experience in Accounting/Finance, payroll administration preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and deadline-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of payroll processing best practices, payroll tax administration and filing, and other payroll disciplines preferred.
• Multi-state payroll tax experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the payroll team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and mentor staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in compliance with federal, state and local laws.
• Review and approve payrolls prior to finalization and correct errors as needed.
• Coordinate with Payroll Coordinators and IT/support to resolve processing issues.
