Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager run daily operations and grow the business. This entry-level management role offers hands-on learning and judgment skills development across store performance, staff coaching, and shift supervision.

Responsibilities include guiding teams, maintaining brand standards, cash handling, inventory checks, and ensuring strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with a sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 Lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, and communicate business objectives clearly.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and coach shifts supervisors to meet store goals.
• Step in during the General Manager's absence and maintain operational continuity.
• Motivate staff and maintain positive morale, especially during challenging periods.
• Ensure brand standards, cash management, inventory checks, and customer satisfaction.
