Job summary

The Maybourne Beverly Hills Hotel is seeking an Assistant Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function in a luxury hospitality setting. You will drive colleague engagement, ensure compliance with labor laws, and play a hands-on role in day-to-day HR operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related.
3-5 years progressive HR experience with leadership in a management role.
Experience with Forbes-rated luxury hotel brand preferred.
Strong knowledge of California and Federal labor law, wage and hour regulations.
HRCI or SHRM certifications preferred.
Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Guide managers with HR functions and policy interpretation.
Manage employee relations including conflict resolution and progressive discipline.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Collaborate with Security on workers’ compensation and claims.
Lead onboarding for managers; support learning and development initiatives.
Assist Talent Acquisition and onboarding logistics; support performance reviews.
Prepare HR metrics reports and analytics.
