Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Danvers, MA. The role involves assisting customers, managing rentals with U-Scan tech, and helping dock trucks and trailers. On-site work includes equipment inspection and maintaining safety standards.

The position offers an hourly wage of $15.00–$16.00, with additional bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits where eligible. A strong customer-service mindset and valid driving license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
