Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Wilmington, MA location to help customers inside and outside the center, using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, and to move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.

The position includes on-the-job education, competitive pay of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, and eligibility for benefits. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
