Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Mountain View location to be the friendly face of our team, helping customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and related services. You will use U-Scan tech to manage rentals and assist customers on site.

The role offers on-the-job training, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities to earn bonuses and advance within a nationwide company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
