Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a personable Customer Service Representative to assist customers, manage rentals, and help with equipment inspections.

You will work with U-Scan and other tools to dispatch and return equipment, assist with hitch installations, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for customers. This role includes on-the-job training and opportunities to learn through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot
• Educate customers regarding products and services
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns
• Install hitches and trailer wiring
• Fill propane and forklift operations (certification provided upon employment)
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University
