Job summary

New York Botanical Garden seeks a Manager for Employee and Volunteer Experience to coordinate programs that enhance the working, interning, and volunteering experience. You will manage onboarding, scheduling, participant support, and recognition activities, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and accessibility across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience managing day-to-day employee engagement, volunteer, internship, workforce partnership, accessibility, or community engagement programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience with volunteer management, scheduling, registration, database, or reporting systems; Volgistics experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, partnership-management, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program priorities and goals with leadership.
• Manage onboarding, scheduling, and participant support for programs.
• Coordinate engagement, recognition, and appreciation activities.
