Position Specific Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategies to enhance the organization's environmental, social, and governance practices (ESG).
- Collaborates with internal teams to integrate sustainable and responsible business practices into daily operations.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with non-profit organizations and other stakeholders.
- Monitors and reports on key ESG metrics, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Organizes employee volunteer programs, green initiatives, and sustainability events to engage employees in CSR efforts.
- Leads efforts to foster an inclusive workplace.
- Develops and implements belonging programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
- Works closely with the People team and organizational leaders to create and maintain inclusive hiring practices and team member development programs.
- Develops and leads employee resource groups, mentorship programs, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training initiatives.
- Partners with the appropriate stakeholders to connect philanthropic initiatives with the broader objectives of corporate social responsibility and belonging strategies.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to identify community needs and allocate resources effectively.
- Measures and reports on the impact of philanthropic activities.
- Researches and identifies social determinants affecting the workforce.
- Develops programs and policies to address social determinants and enhance the overall well-being and engagement of teammates at Compassus.
- Collaborates with internal departments to integrate social determinants considerations into workplace initiatives.
- Develops and implements employee wellness programs, mental health resources, and employee assistance programs.
- Develops and leads employee recognition and reward programs, team-building activities, and company-wide celebrations.
- Collaborates with internal communications to share employee stories, showcase company culture, and promote a sense of community.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; social work experience preferred.
- Proven experience in community programs management, with a focus on ESG, DE&I, philanthropy, CSR, and social determinants of work.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Social Work or Human Resources preferred
- Strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in sustainability, social impact, and corporate responsibility.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- A strong data-driven mindset and the ability to analyze and report on program impact are crucial. These skills will be instrumental in guiding our community programs toward maximum effectiveness and impact.

- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.
- Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
