Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics North America seeks a People Experience Specialist to guide staff on employment resources, policy interpretations, and fair issue resolution across North America.

You will handle employee relations, investigations, compliance audits, and engagement initiatives while partnering with managers to support growth, safety, and well-being across our stores and offices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct employee relations experience within North America.
• Knowledge of employment law in your area of responsibility.
• Ability to conduct high volume workplace investigations with unbiased approach.
• Confidentiality and thorough documentation.
• Strong listening, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and standard MS/GS/online tools.
• Travel up to 25% for meetings/site visits.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and resolve a high volume of performance and employee relations challenges, separations, investigations, terminations and leaves across North America.
• Partner with leaders to guide on complex employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
• Lead workplace investigations including bullying, harassment, and misconduct.
• Manage employee injuries and workplace compensation claims.
• Drive employee engagement through site visits and audits.
• Lead layoffs and shop closures with compliance and execution.
• Support performance improvement plans with coaching.
• Ensure adherence to employment standards and mandatory trainings.
• Assess accommodation requests and implement appropriate measures.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training resources for staff.
• Guide employees to the right resources and people for resolution.
• Escalate issues and report back results to leadership.
• Promote wellbeing resources and coordinate with benefits.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and safety incident response.
• Support return-to-work processes after leave.
• Maintain policies and keep up with company changes.
• Analyze data and report trends to leadership.
