SKIMS in Corte Madera, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Leader - People & Culture to partner with the Store Leader on people strategy and store performance. This role focuses on building an inclusive team, talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance, and employee relations.

You’ll champion a customer-obsessed, high-energy culture, coach teammates, manage scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies while delivering exceptional service and store results.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a people leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of hiring, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management best practices.
• Proactive in identifying talent needs and building a pipeline through networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a Customer Obsessed mindset by building an engaged, motivated team delivering exceptional service.
• Own all talent acquisition responsibilities from outreach to hiring, ensuring diverse pipelines and candidate experience reflecting SKIMS values.
• Proactively hire and maintain a strong bench of candidates; network within the community to stay ahead.
• Drive results by aligning hiring and staffing with store KPIs and customer experience.
• Lead onboarding to welcome and support new hires for success.
• Manage scheduling and labor planning to meet business demands while upholding service standards.
• Identify training needs and coach the team to support career growth.
• Support performance management routines with clear expectations and feedback.
• Handle employee relations with confidentiality and fairness; maintain trust.
