Job summary

The City of Lakeland is seeking a Senior Organizational Development professional to design, develop, implement, and evaluate leadership development programs and talent management initiatives across municipal departments.

You will partner with city leadership to customize workshops, facilitate programs, and coach managers and staff for professional growth, with a focus on organizational culture and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Five years of experience developing and facilitating leadership development programs, talent management initiatives, or organizational development interventions.
• Experience designing and delivering professional development programs and engaging leadership cohorts.

Responsibilities

• Consult with City leadership on talent management strategies and needs.
• Coaches managers and employees for professional growth and leadership development.
• Designs processes and programs to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Leads onboarding processes for newly hired employees and coordinates new hire events.
