Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking an HR Generalist at the Walton, KY facility. You will handle employee relations investigations, support hourly recruiting, administer benefits enrollment, and ensure accurate timekeeping and attendance across shifts.

The role emphasizes onboarding, training, coaching, and building strong relationships with associates and management. Occasional travel may be required, and you’ll contribute to KPI reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law at federal, state and local levels.
• Experience with union avoidance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle employee relations investigations and provide recommendations to management.
• Support hourly recruiting efforts in coordination with site recruiter.
• Administer benefits enrollment and serve as local resource for benefits questions.
• Oversee weekly time and attendance processes to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and ongoing training for associates.
• Provide coaching and counseling to hourly and salaried staff as needed.
• Produce reports and presentations using Word, Excel and PowerPoint to track KPI results.
