Job summary

Framebridge is seeking a strategic People & Culture Manager, Retail, to lead day-to-day employee relations and talent planning for our expanding retail fleet. You will transition from executing HR tasks to owning the regional People strategy, partnering with Store Managers and HQ.

This role focuses on scaling our retail teams, ensuring compliant practices, Workday governance, and succession planning across New Store Openings.

Qualifications

The Role

We are seeking a strategic, highly collaborative People & Culture Manager, Retail, to lead day-to-day employee relations and talent planning for our expanding retail fleet. In this role, you will transition from executing HR tasks to owning the regional People strategy, serving as a critical business partner to Regional, District, and Store Managers. You will oversee the resolution of complex employee relations, design proactive talent planning and succession frameworks, and ensure our retail teams are scaled and empowered to deliver a delightful customer experience.

While your primary focus is driving the health and talent pipeline of our retail stores, you will also align with corporate headquarters to ensure unified People & Culture initiatives across the brand.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, People & Culture.

As People & Culture Manager, Retail, You Will:
Employee Relations & Compliance Leadership
  • Lead the strategy and oversight for all day-to-day Retail employee relations (ER), serving as the escalation point for complex investigations, conflict resolution, and high-risk performance management issues.
  • Coach and counsel Store, Area and District Managers on building high-performing teams, delivering impactful feedback, and navigating sensitive corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency in the application of employment laws, company policies, and culture across all current and future retail locations.
  • Analyze ER trends and turnover data within Workday to diagnose root causes, reporting actionable insights and proactive cultural interventions to executive retail leadership.
Strategic Talent Planning & Acquisition
  • Own the workforce planning strategy for Retail, partnering closely with Retail Leadership to forecast staffing needs and future strategies for scale.
  • Support the Retail talent acquisition strategy, work collaboratively with the talent acquisition team on full-cycle recruitment frameworks for leadership roles and design fast-paced hiring blueprints for New Store Openings (NSO).
  • Champion succession planning by supporting talent review frameworks that identify, develop, and retain high-potential hourly and salaried internal talent.
Operational Excellence & Scale
  • Architect and optimize People & Culture Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scaling strategies specifically tailored for a fast-growing, geographically dispersed Retail footprint.
  • Act as the functional owner of Workday for the Retail division, ensuring advanced case tracking, data integrity, and leveraging the system to streamline the Retail employee lifecycle.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key partners to ensure seamless, unified processes exist that support onboarding and ongoing development of teams.
Who You Are:
  • An Experienced HR Leader: You bring 3+ years of progressive People & Culture/HR experience, with at least 2 years specifically leading HR functions, employee relations, and talent planning within a multi-unit Retail or customer service environment. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • An Employee Relations Expert: You have expertise in employment law, conducting complex investigations, and guiding field management through nuanced performance conversations.
  • A Forward-Thinking Talent Planner: You have a proven track record of designing succession plans, executing high-volume talent acquisition strategies, and successfully launching talent initiatives for New Store Openings.
  • A Workday Power User: You possess advanced, hands-on proficiency with Workday, utilizing it not just for data tracking, but for driving strategic business insights.
  • An Exceptional Communicator: You are a trusted advisor who can effortlessly pivot your communication style from coaching hourly store team members to presenting talent strategies to senior executives.

Salary Information

The base range is $80,000 – $90,000. Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
