Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Miami Beach is seeking an HR Manager to lead People + Culture initiatives across hotel and restaurant teams, covering employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, and policy compliance.

You will partner with General Managers and department heads to enhance staff programs, manage performance processes, and ensure legal compliance while upholding Kimpton service standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of HR experience preferably at a manager level in a hotel environment.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Hotel Management or related field preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support HR partnerships with hotel & restaurant operations, acting as an employee advocate and cultural consultant.
• Assist hiring managers in recruitment and staffing, including career fairs, job postings, and onboarding.
• Partner with management on mentorship, counseling and disciplinary matters, including investigations as needed.
• Lead Employee Relations initiatives and programs aligned with Best Place to Work and related recognition activities.
• Ensure compliance with Employment & Labor laws and manage workers' compensation and unemployment administration.
