Job summary

Gage Marine Corporation is seeking a qualified HR professional who will work closely with managers and leadership across all of Gage Marine’s business locations to enhance communication and nurture a culture where employees feel valued, connected, and inspired. This role requires hands-on employee lifecycle program implementation with strategic alignment to our core values.

The position reports directly to the COO and will support HR operations, payroll collaboration, onboarding, performance

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in Human Resources.
• Experience in a multi-location business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Employee Lifecycle across recruiting, onboarding, engagement, performance support, and offboarding.
• Provide support to employees and payroll resources.
• Assist Payroll & Benefits Manager with payroll issues.
• Maintain employee records and confidentiality.
• Implement programs in recognition, learning, culture, wellness, diversity, and feedback.
• Partner with managers to set expectations, coach, and improve team performance.
• Help streamline onboarding/offboarding tools and workflows.
• Process unemployment paperwork, injury reporting, and annual censuses.
