Job summary

Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House is seeking a People Coordinator to partner with the People & Culture Team to execute HR and volunteer functions aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and leading our co-op/intern program.

The role serves as a reliable teammate handling day-to-day people administrative functions and requires travel between RMH Philadelphia locations using personal vehicle or other transportation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of administrative support experience
• Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred
• Volunteer management system and/or HRIS system experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and onboard staff and volunteers; schedule interviews and conduct background checks
• Post job openings and manage candidate communications through the recruiting process
• Coordinate embedding volunteer recognition and engagement programs
• Maintain compliance records for local, state, and federal regulations affecting volunteer roles
• Coordinate onboarding for Co-op/Intern programs and support orientations
• Assist in planning staff and volunteer events and training sessions
• Update and revise handbooks for Employee, Co-op/Intern, Contractor and Volunteer roles
• Create reports and track employee/volunteer engagement and milestones
• Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the team
• Travel between RMH Philadelphia locations as needed
