Advocate Access NW seeks a People & Culture Advocate to build a welcoming, organized, fair, and consistent employee experience. You will partner with Directors and staff to clarify employment needs, navigate processes, and support Direct Support Professionals.

The role focuses on turning complex rules into practical workflows while preserving a collaborative culture. Qualifications include HR experience, knowledge of Oregon and federal employment practices, and strong judgment.

Qualificações

• Relevant experience in human resources, employee relations, benefits administration, or a closely related area.
• Working knowledge of Oregon and federal employment practices.
• Relevant education or HR certification is welcome but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as an approachable and knowledgeable resource for employees.
• Administer employee benefits and coordinate with benefit partners.
• Help employees understand benefits, leave options, policies, and processes.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation, unemployment, leaves, and accommodations.
• Maintain confidential HR records and protect sensitive information.
• Investigate workplace concerns and support fair, timely actions.
• Guide performance coaching and disciplinary processes with professionalism.
• Supervise administrative staff and ensure timely HR tasks.
• Strengthen HR practices by updating policies and workflows.
• Support training and development and annual performance reviews.
• Build a positive employee experience and culture.
