Job summary

Advocate Access NW is seeking a People & Culture Advocate to guide HR practices across the organization, ensuring employees feel welcomed, supported, and clear about expectations. This role works closely with Directors and the administrative team to translate complex requirements into practical workflows.

The position covers benefits administration, leave and accommodations, employee relations, performance processes, training, and policy development, with a focus on respectful communication,

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in human resources, employee relations, benefits administration, or a closely related area.
• Experience handling confidential employee information and sensitive workplace matters.
• Working knowledge of Oregon and federal employment practices; education or HR certification is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits, leave options, policies, and processes.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation, unemployment, leave, and accommodations.
• Support employee relations and disciplinary processes with Directors and administrative team.
• Develop clear HR workflows and ensure timely follow-up and documentation.
• Supervise administrative staff and coordinate HR activities with Directors.
