Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a detail-oriented People Coordinator to support HR operations across multiple airport locations. You will help recruit staff, conduct onboarding, and answer questions about policies and benefits in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage background checks, payroll support, training records, and investigations while ensuring compliance with labor laws and airport regulations. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years HR experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-location operations.
  • HRIS experience (ADP preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA).

Responsibilities

  • Assist TA team and managers to recruit and hire restaurant staff.
  • Manage airport security clearance processes and background checks.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientations.
  • Serve as first contact for policies and benefits questions.
  • Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
  • Assist with workplace investigations and confidential files.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and airport regulations.
  • Process employment verifications and unemployment claims.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes.
  • Support payroll processing.
  • Coordinate workers' compensation and FMLA cases.
  • Support open enrollment.
  • Track training completion and certifications.
  • Coordinate security and emergency training.
  • Support performance reviews and development programs.
  • Assist HR projects and policy updates.
  • Coordinate employee events and recognition programs.

This role is essential in managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through separation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a passion for supporting our diverse workforce in the unique airport hospitality environment.Main Duties & Responsibilities:1.
