Job description

the company is hiring an EMEA People Business Partner Lead to be the primary strategic People partner to business leaders across the region. By combining deep business partnership, organizational insight, and proactive People strategy, this role will help shape how the EMEA organization evolves—not simply respond to the needs of the business as they arise.

This role is responsible for deeply understanding the business, its growth strategy, and the unique dynamics across EMEA, and translating that understanding into proactive People and organizational strategy. You will help leaders anticipate needs, spot risks and opportunities, and build the teams, leadership capability, and practices required to scale.

In this role, you will help leaders anticipate organizational needs and identify risks and opportunities, while enabling them with the leadership capability and people practices needed to scale their teams successfully.

Success in this role requires strong business acumen, organizational judgment, and the ability to move beyond responding to leadership requests to independently identifying what the business needs. Because EMEA is a diverse and complex region, this person must be able to understand the different business and market dynamics across countries while maintaining a cohesive view of the region and its long-term organizational needs.

What You’ll Do
Strategic People & Business Partnership
  • Serve as the primary People partner to our managers and leaders based in EMEA, deeply understanding their growth strategy, operating model, and organizational dynamics.
  • Translate business priorities into proactive People and organizational strategies, bringing an independent point of view and identifying risks and opportunities early.
  • Partner with leaders on complex organizational decisions and ensure People is embedded early in business planning.
Organizational Strategy & Effectiveness
  • Partner with EMEA leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, role clarity, team effectiveness, and leadership capability.
  • Identify patterns and systemic issues across teams and translate insights into recommendations and action.
  • Use workforce, talent, and organizational data to inform performance, talent, succession, and organizational decisions.
People Strategy & Program Leadership
  • Partner with global People teams to adapt programs for regional needs and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive adoption and effectiveness of People initiatives, bringing regional insights back to the global People organization.
Global Partnership & Influence
  • Serve as the strategic People partner to leaders navigating complex employee and organizational situations across EMEA.
  • Partner with People Operations and Legal to navigate performance, conduct, organizational change, and other complex people matters.
  • Identify patterns and proactively address broader organizational or leadership issues.
  • Bridge EMEA leadership and the global People organization, ensuring regional needs inform company-wide People strategy.
  • Partner across People, Finance, Recruiting, Compensation, Legal, and other functions to align organizational and talent priorities with business needs.
  • Influence across geographies and functions in a global, distributed environment.
What We’re Looking For
  • Significant experience in senior HR Business Partner or People leadership roles, ideally supporting complex, high-growth businesses across EMEA.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a deep understanding of a business and translate business strategy into proactive People and organizational strategy.
  • Strong experience in organizational design, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and leadership partnership.
  • Proven ability to influence senior business leaders and bring an independent, well-informed point of view to complex decisions.
  • Demonstrated pattern recognition and judgment, with the ability to identify organizational risks and opportunities before they become visible problems.
  • Experience developing or adapting People programs to meet business needs and driving adoption and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen and curiosity, with a genuine interest in understanding how the business operates and what drives success.
  • Experience working across global and distributed organizations, ideally with exposure to the complexity and diversity of EMEA markets.
  • Strong relationship-building and influence skills across cultures, functions, and geographies.
  • Comfortable operating independently in ambiguity and creating direction within their scope rather than waiting for direction.
