Job summary

AZZO Pty Ltd in the United States is seeking a proactive People & Culture Generalist to join our US team. This hands-on role covers recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and learning and development, providing practical guidance and supporting effective people management practices.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.

• Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, and lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR guidance on policies, practices, and routine people matters.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes with hiring managers.
• Support onboarding, performance reviews, employment changes, and offboarding.

The Role

As AZZO continues to grow, we’re looking for a proactive and approachable People & Culture Generalist to join our US team.

This is a hands-on generalist role supporting employees and managers across recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and learning and development. You’ll work closely with business leaders and the broader global People & Culture team to provide practical HR guidance, support effective people management practices, and ensure our global processes are aligned with US employment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR guidance to employees and managers on company policies, employment practices, and routine people matters.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, partnering with hiring managers on candidate selection, interviews, and hiring decisions.
• Support employee onboarding, performance reviews, employment changes, and offboarding processes.
• Provide initial support on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace conduct, and employee inquiries.
• Coordinate employee learning and development activities, mandatory training, and engagement initiatives.
• Support the localization of global HR policies and processes to align with US employment laws and workplace practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of US employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and employee lifecycle activities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working with managers and employees at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
