Job summary

Abbott is seeking a data-driven HR analytics professional to deliver high-quality analytics and scalable reporting from Willis Tower or Abbott Park, IL. You will partner with HRBPs and stakeholders to support workforce initiatives and build capability in advanced analytics.

The role emphasizes transforming complex data into actionable insights, steering decision-making, and delivering end-to-end analytics products, dashboards, and models for workforce planning and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in people/workforce analytics or related analytics role.
• Proficiency in R and/or Python for data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets in cloud environments (Azure).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience designing analytics solutions as scalable dashboards/models with business impact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data engineering & analytics delivery: extract/transform/validate data from HR systems and cloud platforms (Azure).
• Build scalable SQL-based data pipelines and dashboards to support analytics needs.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and privacy compliance across solutions.
• Generate advanced insights across attrition, hiring, mobility, and org health using R/Python.
• Translate analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead analytics engagements with increasing independence and ownership.
